01 / The Lead Lift |
Nick Walker took the Sandow by two points. The weekend got stranger from there.Nick Walker is the 2026 Mr. Olympia, and the official scorecard shows just how little room he had to breathe. Walker finished with 18 points, Samson Dauda with 20, and two-time champion Derek Lunsford with 24. Lower is better. Walker carried the lead out of judging, but Dauda won the finals score 5-10. That late charge nearly flipped the contest. It did not. Walker's combined total held, giving him his first Sandow, the $600,000 top prize, and a place as the 20th Men's Open champion. The top five finished Walker, Dauda, Lunsford, Andrew Jacked, and Tonio Burton. The defending champion is now the man who placed sixth one year ago, while Dauda proved the gap can disappear in one session. |
